Kyle Kudroch to play for Platsburgh! July 31, 2008

Former Leamington Flyer captain and a player for five years Kyle Kudroch will be attending Platsburgh State University to continue his hockey and academic career. He is going to be playing for the Plattsburgh State Cardinals who have a winning tradition in the SUNYAC League. Cardinals assistant coach Steve Moffat says "Kyle is a good solid player with a terrific shot that could be used in all situations. He will challenge players for penalty kill and power play time. The Cardinals play an in your face style of hockey and that will be just right for Kyle's game and hard work ethic will bring to the team."

Former Flyers Captain Adam Spinarsky has turned pro! August 8, 2008

Former Flyers Captain Adam Spinarsky has turned pro and has signed on to a one year deal to play in the Dutch Elite League for Eindhoven. He is to report to the club by Sept. 22. "This is a great opportunity for Adam" says Director of Hockey Operations Steve Price. " he has worked hard on his game over the last few years and it is paying off. With his leadership skills he will be an asset to their line-up on and off the ice. We wish Spinner the very best along the way."
